About HIP
Who We Are
Hawaii Island Pride is a group of volunteers dedicated to putting on an exciting
annual event that is long over due... Gay Pride.
Our goal is to make this a fun and safe festival for everyone, Gay, Lesbian, bi,
transgender, families and friends.
Mission
To Create Unity, Honor Diversity, and Achieve Equal Human Rights throughout our
Region
.
Purpose
To Coordinate and Promote Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride
Events on the Big Island, which celebrate the present, envision the future and
honor the past.
Sponsorships are sought to offset expenses and a portion will go to fund raising
for a local charity. Our staff & Board of Directors are all volunteers.
