First Annual HIP Pride Festival
We are working on the 1st Annual Hawaii Island Pride Festival June 21st at the
King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel Luau Grounds. The 2008 Hawaii Island
Pride events will include: Miss Hawaii Island Pride Pageant at My Bar, Keynote
Speakers,Retail/ craft vendors, live entertainment, information booths, activity
booths, local artists & a candlelit walk. (drug & alcohol free event)
We Are Currently Looking For:

To Create Unity, Honor Diversity, and Achieve Equal Human Rights throughout
our Region

Purpose
To Coordinate and Promote Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride
Events on the Big Island, which celebrate the present, envision the future and
honor the past.
Sponsorships are sought to offset expenses and a portion will go to fund raising
for a local charity. Our staff & Board of Directors are all volunteers.
